About CentralBlog and the local sites we write for
We are a small editorial desk attached to a link marketplace. Our beat is the town blog, the neighbourhood newsletter and the volunteer-run news site.

What we do
CentralBlog sells individual dofollow backlinks, editorial placements and link insertions, on real websites that have been vetted for traffic. The catalogue holds 50,000+ donor domains, each listed with Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price.
Orders are pay as you go, from $1 up to about $500 for top domains. There is no subscription. You can also order through a REST API with a Bearer key, or let an AI agent over MCP (ChatGPT, Claude) browse donors and fill a basket. Paying that basket stays a human step.
Our view of the web is our own: our own crawler and our own index. It is refreshed about once a month, so a link placed last week may not show up in it yet.
Who we write for
City desks of one. Parish newsletters gone digital. A food blogger who became the unofficial guide to a market town. These publishers know their streets better than any national site, and they have the least time for link building.
We write guides in the voice of a local columnist because that is the readership we picture: patient, sceptical and short of hours. The week-by-week diary and the red-flag list are examples.
If your site belongs to a council, a school or a charity, the free links checklist is the better first stop.
We do not promise rankings, and we do not claim any link is safe from Google. Links are one input. Write good pages, and treat the marketplace as a supplement.
How we work
Every guide starts from questions that publishers really ask, such as how long a link takes to show, whether a cheap one is worth it and who can be trusted. We then answer with numbers that come from the product itself.
We keep the product facts short. Prices run from $1 to about $500, delivery is usually about 24 hours, and every order goes through a basket you can leave unpaid. Anything beyond that, we do not claim.
Examples are labelled as examples. We have no customer stories to quote, so we do not quote any. Readers who want a second opinion should compare us with Ahrefs, Semrush or a local agency, and we mean that.
Corrections are welcome. If a guide misstates a Google update or a date, write in and we will fix the page and change the date at the top.
What a visit looks like
You find links in the marketplace, add the ones you like to a basket and review them. Only then do you pay. Afterwards, each placement appears in your ordered links with its status.
Small publishers often ask about control. You pick the donor, the target page and the content mode, and you can read the article once it is live. If something is off, tell us. You pick the donor, the target page and the content mode. Please read each article carefully once it is live, because the donor site is the final place it appears and you are the best judge of whether it fits your page. The same goes for any later change to your own site.
Not every site needs paid links. Plenty of town blogs do well on goodwill alone, and our price bands page says so openly.

Get in touch through your account page. Questions about orders go there too.
Questions about billing, invoices and proforma invoices go through the same page. Publishers wanting to sell placements can start there as well.
